Fashion Night Out with Marie Claire

So this post is so long over due but I attended the Marie Claire Trunk Show a couple of months ago and I just never got around to putting up the pictures or blogging about it. It was my first time attending and it was so fun! It was held at Johannesburg's beloved Neighbourgoods Market with awesome food, awesome music and of course awesome fashion. I bagged myself an adorable vintage pleated skirt for a pittance! Marie Claire really went all out and stocked us up with a really cool goodie bag. All in all a fun night was had.

Milestones

Hi to all of my wonderful readers, apologies for the lack of content in the last few months. I feel like I am apologising a lot for my inability to fully pour myself into this blog but I hope you will receive my apologies nonetheless. Like I mentioned a few months ago, a lot of real life things have been happening from losing loved ones, welcoming new little ones into my family, watching friends tie the knot and embark on forever, a whole lot of bridesmaid activities and more work than I even know what to do with.

 

Here is a little glimpse of what the last few months have been like...

I just want to thank everyone reading this post for the support, I hit the 10 000 mark YAY!!! I am very humbled because in spite of a lack of new posts there has still been substantial traffic and its a humbling affirmation that someone out there is interested in my ramblings and musings. I am truly thankful.

 

Very random post, I know... but I have a whole lot of ideas for the direction I want the blog to go in come 2014, so watch this space! 

 

Spring is here!

I am so glad Winter is over even though the weather has been playing tricks on us what with all these strange cold fronts and cold, rainy weekends. As I said in my last post, I feel like I have nothing to wear and I spend so long agonising over what outfit I am going to pull out of my closet. Everything in my closet now is all about winter, lots of sweaters, jackets and boots and ya'll know it is way too hot for that mess! So if you are like me and you are lacking inspiration, I have come to your rescue!
