I will be honest, the first time I put together the "about me" section of my blog I totally half-arsed it and it wasn't a true reflection of who I am and what I would like you to know about me or this blog. So let's just do the whole thing over shall we?
My name is Belinda, but I would prefer to be called Namata (pronounced Nuh-mah-tah). I am a small town girl with big city dreams. Lawyer by day, dreamer by night.
My blog is centred around fashion, style and design. I am the curly haired creator with a deep love for all things stylish and chic. I love wearing big, chunky, dangly earrings and my love for shoes borders on obscene.
Just like my hair, the title of my blog is in no way, shape or form a political statement. I wear my hair natural because I choose to. Full Stop. I called the blog the Black Diamond Series because I like things and because a good friend of mine suggested it. Full Stop.
As a devout resident of Johannesburg, South Africa, I wish to share with you my perspective on fashion, style, beauty and design. Every now and then I step out and colour outside of the lines sharing my thoughts on various things that aren't related to fashion.
